Information we collect

Account information: if you create an account, we store the email and name you provide. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes — never in plain text.

Money profile: if you build a Money Profile or set goals, we store the amounts you enter so you can return to them. We never ask for, and never receive, your bank account credentials.

Usage: we log basic events such as page views and calculator usage, plus hashed IP addresses for abuse prevention and click tracking. Raw IP addresses are not stored.

How we use it

To operate the features you use (profiles, goals, alerts, notifications), to keep the service secure, and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your money profile with lenders or third parties.

Cookies and sessions

Strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie keeps you signed in, and a CSRF token protects against request forgery. These are always active because the site cannot function without them.

Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics / Tag Manager to understand aggregate usage. On your first visit we ask whether to enable these. Analytics does not load until you accept, and you can change your choice any time from the "Cookie choices" link in the site footer.

Advertising

MoneyPilot is preparing to show ads served by Google, including Google AdSense. Ads are not active on every page yet; this section describes how they will work once enabled.

When ads are running, Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure ads. Personalized ads use cookies based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and at aboutads.info, and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

For visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, we will show a Google-certified consent message before any non-essential or advertising cookies are set, as required by Google. Until you make a choice there, only strictly necessary cookies are used.

Your choices

You can delete your money profile, goals, or account at any time from your dashboard. Contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.

You can change your analytics-cookie choice any time using the "Cookie choices" link in the footer. You can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and control all cookies through your browser settings.
